Participative and qualitative educational innovation
2018 was a good year in terms of the qualifications for Audencia’s programmes with no fewer than twelve applications for renewals of accreditations and certifications being granted. This is the reward for a considerable amount of highly audacious work collectively carried through by a very close-knit team, as Daniel Evans, director of programmes, likes to point out. He says, “We have been granted a renewal of the Audencia Bachelor certification for 5 years (the maximum duration) with a radically different programme and having introduced our own entrance exam. We renewed our MSc® SCPM and SM® SMED and MDC in February 2018, revised the teaching model for our Specialised Masters® programmes, all of which were re-accredited in November, as well as created and received certification for two exemplary SM® in skills hybridisation: one in energy transition (SM® APTE) and the other in music industry management (SM® MFM). We are extremely proud of our shared success.” As part of this ongoing process, all the Audencia SM® and MSc® programmes (with the exception of the EIBM) will be re-accredited as of January 2019. “This is a big step for the school. It will really bolster our programmes and help us focus on quality.”
In addition to the essential quality guarantee provided by certifications, labels and accreditations, developing the portfolio of programmes remains a priority for Daniel Evans. He says, “One of my missions is to stimulate the creation of programmes. I am delighted to see that that desire is shared by both the faculty and administrative teams. To meet market demand, our launch rate is two to three programmes per year. The fact that our portfolio is regularly being renewed is a sign of our ability to anticipate, adapt and respond to market demand.”
