Renewed certification and a new entrance exam

The efforts of the Audencia Bachelor teams have been rewarded. After many months of redesigning the teaching model from top to bottom and carrying out the administrative steps for renewing the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESRI) certification necessary to ensure 3 years of higher education equivalence, this was granted in May for the maximum duration of 5 years. “The teaching model has been comprehensively overhauled with a strong international bias. There is now the possibility of completing the entire programme in English as of the first year, and spending 6 months abroad is a mandatory requirement,” notes Anne Cordesse, director of studies. Other developments include teaching with an open approach in a very wide range of fields to encourage skills hybridisation over the whole course: coding, collaborative tools, an introduction to product design, website creation, blog writing, general culture, to name but a few.

“Given the reputation and appeal of the Audencia Bachelor programme, especially in the west of France, we wanted to boost our image and highlight our difference with an entrance exam unique to Audencia, rather than a common test system,” says Daniel Evans, programmes director. “The creation of our own entrance exam allows us to better control the timing and selection process, as well as the relationship with our applicants. We’ve gained in efficiency whilst maintaining our rigorous standards.” The new entrance exam is more affordable, more comprehensible for applicants and their families, and more open to diverse profiles and international applicants in the first and third years.
