Successful internalisation of press relations
“In 2018, we decided to reinternalise press relations for both Audencia and the Triathlon for France (Triathlon pour la France), previously managed through an external agency,” says Frank Dormont, director of communications. “To do so, we added a new press agent to the team. For international markets, we maintain an offshore press agent.” This has produced results. There have been more than 2,500 press releases, including 602 in the last quarter of 2018 alone and 38 related to the 10 announcements of press conferences which took place in November on the following subjects: the Magelis partnership, Morbihan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Future Leader Center, the Global Institute for Agribusiness in South America, real estate investments, the roll-out of the two new Specialised Masters® Acteur Pour la Transition Énergétique (APTE, Contributing to Energy Transition) and Management de la Filière Musicale (MFM, Music Industry Management), CSR in Audencia, the Centrale-Audencia-ENSA Nantes Alliance and the Audencia ecosystem.
Equally noteworthy is that there has been better visibility on audio-visual media with several appearances on the 1 o’clock and 8 o’clock television newscasts of BFM TV and France Télévision for the Négotraining course (a course for women on how to negotiate their salary) now sponsored by the French politician Marlène Schiappa and Le bonheur au travail (Happiness at work) based on Thibault Bardon’s study.
