When students build the future…

Times change, and attitudes too. “Our corporate partners are no longer reluctant to elicit our students, under the supervision of our teaching staff, to invent the future. They are a driving force where youthfulness, a sense of novelty and creativity create a different vision for better innovation” explains Françoise Marcus, Director of Corporate and Alumni relations.

To give an example, in 2017-2018, some students from the Mastère Spécialisé^® (Specialised Master’s Degree) Marketing, Design & Creation worked for a company operating in road and rail infrastructure and urban planning. It was all about finding solutions to improve the mobility experiences of users, easing traffic flow in public areas and optimising under-utilised spaces.

Another example, the City Lab Alliance 2018, focused on the topic of health issues in cities. Students from the 3 schools, Alliance Centrale-Audencia – ensa Nantes worked for 2 days on various topics proposed by Réalités, LNA, Humanis, Nantes Métropole Habitat or Suez, alongside professionals from these companies. Examples of topics covered:

• “Inventing new ways of managing Healthcare in our cities. Reassessing the functions and services provided by general practices and paramedical organisations in cities.”
• “Redefining the healthcare institution so that it becomes a major player in its territory.”
• “Supporting caregivers. Datacity for the well-being of caregivers.”
• “ From housing to commerce, from commerce to housing: which urban and social paths, which services for elderly social housing tenants?”

“The Mag”, the inspirational digital magazine for students and graduates

Diversity, Revolution, the World Cup, Return to the West, the Food Industry… Between the 1st edition in March 2018 and the 5th edition in November, “The Mag”, a digital magazine for Audencia’s students and graduates went from around 800 to 2,000 readers. This enthusiasm is as much due to its focus on topical issues as its highly qualitative content, which values the experiences of both graduates and students. Network talk, Innovation hub, Campus life, Patronage & support, Itineraries, Around the Globe, Business corner… numerous topics and bilingualism that reach out to the international alumni community. The Mag is available on Together, the platform dedicated specifically to Audencia’s Alumni community.
